Job Description

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Commercial Training and Development, the Director of Enterprise Training will oversee the design and implementation of a professional development curriculum, marketing excellence program, market access training, the NFM/POA content development process and training technology. This role will also oversee field manager and director development as well as an emerging manager program focused on leadership guidance and development. Partnering with leadership across therapeutic areas, this individual will develop continuous learning programs designed to prepare the entire sales/sales leadership organization in staying ahead of moving trends within a dynamic healthcare environment. The candidate must be able to operate in a fast paced organization, with high expectations and accountability on quality and timing of the deliverables. Responsibilities

 

  • Develop, analyze, and implement initiatives, training programs, and systems that will increase customer engagement and access
  • Work cross-functionally across all levels of the organization to align department strategies with organizational objectives
  • Support leaders in coaching and developing field assocates
  • Partner with subject matter experts in different functional areas internally and externally to identify training needs, assess skills gaps, and ultimately design and facilitate appropriate and meaningful training programs
  • Partner with Human Resources to ensure alignment of professional development activities and talent management initiatives
  • Design and facilitate training programs that align with the competencies of each business area
  • Drive the development of high potential / high impact personnel
  • Oversee the management, design, and delivery of training content for National and POA meetings
  • Implement payer/alternative distribution training
  • Grow current repository of professional development oferings
  • Oversee the management of LMS and digital training tools

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience (Marketing, Market Access, Sales Leadership experience preferred)
  • 5+ years training experience with knowledge of adult learning principles and experience with distance learning
  • Experience hiring, developing and training individuals throughout career
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic training and development plans
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
  • Demonstrated group facilitation and classroom presentation skills
  • Ability to perform in high pressure and fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Understanding of todays market access landscape
  • Possess strong computer skills, including a sophisticated knowledge of web-based applications and multimedia / video technologies
  • Ability to lead a team with multiple priorities across several business units
