Human Resources

The Human Resources group is a multi-disciplined team that ensures Perspecta is positioned for long-term success by focusing on the company's most important asset its people. Areas of responsibility include benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, analytics, learning and development, and management. Services are delivered and supported through a partnership with each business group.


Responsibilities

The Human Resources Business Partner is a trusted advisor and partner to managers and employees. The HRBP proactively consults with managers and employees on a broad range of HR services. The HRBP supports and delivers customized and practical HR solutions to challenges across a range of HR functions including talent management (workforce planning, retention, succession planning), organization design and effectiveness, engagement and culture, diversity and compensation.

Consulting: Serves as a consultant to management on human resource related issues. Coaches managers and employees to enhance their abilities, driving for a highly engaged workforce, cultivating cross-functional relationships, building bench strength at all levels. Strong business acumen to ensure solutions address business needs. Analyzes data and uses data effectively to drive business decisions.

Talent Management: In partnership with our business-aligned Talent Management team, support talent management strategies and processes to develop world-class talent

Culture: Supports performance management and reward strategies to drive and reinforce a culture of high performance and innovation with and across the business groups. Supports managers and employees with performance management needs and addressing employee relations issues.

Employee Engagement: Support and leverage employee engagement initiatives that elevate and sustain high levels of employee engagement

HR Partnership: Builds strong relationships across the organization, including effective engagement, partnership and collaboration with HR and other functional teams. Supports appropriate compliance and risk management based on internal policies and practices. Works on projects as needed.

Change Management: Supports organization changes within the business group, providing input on business direction, resource planning and internal communication

Qualifications

  • Requires 5 to 7 years of experience with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD; or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Experience with federal contracting industry and project management, preferred
  • Strong skills using Microsoft office and other HR software tools (Workday familiarity preferred)
  • Able to travel up to 10%
