Perspecta has an immediate/upcoming need for anInfrastructure Architect inWashington, DC.

Perspecta is currently conducting interviews to make contingent offers for an exciting potential new customer, the Department of Labor (DOL). Candidates with a current Public Trust clearance, and all other qualified personnel are encouraged to apply for immediate consideration. The customer states that employees working under this task order shall be United States Citizens or legal permanent residents (i.e.: "Green Card Holders").

Under broad direction, advises on or leads the design and development of a highly specialized solution. These solutions may cover but are not limited to information security, privacy, and information assurance scope. Applies expert business skills and methodologies to deliver complex solutions to the client. Advises managing consultants on technical issues. Develops and delivers presentations to project team and client leadership. Provides thought leadership in the development of new services offerings. Contributes to the creation of intellectual capital for the service offering or service line. Acts as a leading authority on at least one service offering and displays a deep working knowledge of others. Exhibits a broad knowledge of all practices.


Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years relevant experience OR Associate's Degree and 10 years relevant experience OR 12 years minimum relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Experience creating and maintaining up-to-date network architecture diagrams.
  • Assist with the full operations, documentation and maintenance responsibilities for system and infrastructure components.
  • Able to configure and administrate servers and server components.
  • Experience with backup and recovery for servers.
  • Assist with continuity of operations management.
  • Experience planning, testing and applying operating system, patches and updates, driver and firmware updates, and antivirus release management.
  • Experience testing, transition and maintaining set of server baseline images.
  • Able to create, install and test baseline server images and additional server software requirements.
  • Assist with maintaining and monitoring baseline server configurations, and documenting/ reporting deviations.
  • Experience monitoring real-time performance and resource usage over time to identify opportunities/need for changes.
  • Assist with the designing, implementing, integrating, of enterprise Active Directory (AD) infrastructure.
  • 24x7x365 monitoring, maintenance and restoration support, as required.
  • Provide full infrastructure management technical support (Tier 2/3/4).
  • Conduct support activities as needed on a 24x7x365 basis.
  • An Active Public Trust or the ability to obtain a clearance.

  • Cloud (AWS or Azure) certification a plus
  • Network+ certification a plus
  • A+ certification a plus
  • Security+ or CISSP certification a plus
  • ITIL v3 Foundational Level certification a plus
  • PMP certification a plus
