The Defense group supports the Department of Defense (DoD) mission to keep our homeland and its citizens safe. We provide solutions to improve the Nation's defense by providing software, systems engineering, IT, training and logistics and fleet management solutions.


This position will be a Network Engineerwho will be hands on responsible for evaluating hardware and software, troubleshooting, handling of network related problems

This position can be based out of

  • Prattville, AL /Montgomery, AL
  • Ft. Detrick, MD
  • Chambersburg PA - Mechanicsburg
  • Oklahoma City, OK

Providing technical expertise for performance andhands on configuration of networks.

Working on enterprise level equipment, managing, maintaining and refreshing networks that support our DoD customers.

Responsible for refreshing existing hardware to new infrastructure solutions.

Create design guides, refresh plans, and implementation plans in support of refresh efforts.

U.S. Citizenship required and must hold active/current Secret, preferrably SSBI. Eligibility for obtaining Top Secret will be required.


Education and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience,Bachelors Degree in a related technical field (preferred)
  • Must be able to design, engineer, and troubleshoot networks in a complex multi-vendor environment
  • Develop configurations and implementing fix-actions to support the resolution of network-related issues
  • Implement configurations in support of technical refresh efforts
  • Manage technical refresh tasks to include analysis, design, configuration, implementation and post migration clean-up
  • Must be able to support implementation of configuration management processes and support the tracking and reporting of those changes
  • Must be able update baseline artifacts to include logical design, as-is drawings and other documents as required for proper network administration
  • Must be knowledgeable and have the ability to diagram, document, configuration and install layer 2/3 networks in a predefined format
  • Must be able to install and modify network components and other systems as required for life cycle tech refresh management to include physical and/or logical connections with any/all network devices/components as specified
  • Must have extensive experience with the integration of new network solutions replacing end of life/end of support network hardware
  • Troubleshooting and implementation experience with technologies and protocols such as Cisco ACI, OSPF, BGP, Fabricpath, Spanning-Tree, and Virtual Port-Channel

Vendor Certification Required (Must hold or be able to obtain 1 technical cert within 90 days)

CCNA (CCNP preferred)



Professional Certification Required (Must hold a minimum of 1 certification)

CISSP orSecurity+Or comparable
