Responsibilities Peraton is seeking individual to support the Range Network Systems Engineering & Integration (RN SE&I) contract which provides Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) support to the US Space Force (USSF) Enterprise Corp (EC) RN program. The government and trusted contractor team acquires services to modernize and sustain the USSF Satellite Control Network (SCN), Launch and Test Range System (LTRS), and Space Training Acquisition Office (STAO). We are seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer with experience in acquisition support, project management, and program planning for the RN SE&I contract to support or ever growing activities to assure or access to space.
Duties include:
- Assisting government program managers and procurement agents to develop acquisition strategies, work statements, evaluation plans and qualify vendors.
- Navigating customer through the entire acquisition life cycle, from pre-award planning through solicitation preparation, contract award, contract administration and contract close-out.
- Applying knowledge of the defense acquisition process in the analysis and improvement of acquisition process policy and procedures to devise strategies for deploying and implementing new acquisition policy initiatives and measuring the effectiveness of implementation.
- Utilizing quantitative analytical techniques to assess system acquisition process issues and develop risk reduction/mitigation approaches for improving acquisition/program planning, control, and execution.
- Participating in development of acquisition plans, source selection documents (including evaluation criteria), Independent Government Cost Estimates, justifications and approvals, synopses, and requests for proposals/quotes/bids. Assists with the development of pre-award technical documentation (solicitation, IGCE, Technical Evaluation Plan (TEP) and Technical Evaluation Report).
