Must be appropriately credentialed and accepted as a member of the active staff at the University Chandler and Good Samaritan Hospitals, Eastern State Hospital and other sites deemed necessary by the Chair of Psychiatry |
Job Summary | The Department of Psychiatry in the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, KY seeks an exceptional full-time physician to provide substance use treatment and evaluation. The Department of Psychiatry provides dedicated teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows throughout the UK College of Medicine and UK HealthCare. Clinical experience and strong record of demonstrated leadership is expected. The Department of Psychiatry is committed to providing superior patient care for adolescents and adults with suspected and/or diagnosed substance use disorders.. Our strong clinical, educational and research programs ensure that the Department continues to offer evidence-based treatment in a collaborative environment along with the treatment of comorbid conditions. The Department serves patients from the local community and the surrounding regions, as well as throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Please include a CV along with application.
