Qualifications Required: - A Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience (3 years)) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years experience, 3 years in IC.
- Familiarity with XML programming and JSON
- Deep knowledge of and demonstrated experience with IC data standards.
- Ability to derive standards and methodologies for interoperability and sharing of data.
- Understanding of the A&A process and ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
- Experience with C2S/AWS services.
- Experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies.
- Experience with development of architecture artifacts.
- Experience with requirements definition and traceability.
- Demonstrated ability to adjust to changing priorities.
- Ability to explain technical issues clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Desired:- SAFe certification.
- PMP certification.
- Expert knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis and design, and programming techniques.
Responsibilities The Data Architect will support the Sponsors Office of Architecture and Engineering that is responsible for providing technical leadership, oversight, integration, and programmatic engineering support across multiple data engineering projects. The Data Architect is responsible for working with multiple stakeholders in various groups to define, develop, and institutionalize a strategic data framework across multi-fabric information environments. The Data Architect will represent the Sponsor office at IC working groups to develop metadata technical specifications for the IC and bring back to the Sponsor Office for internal use.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing architectural direction and engineering guidance throughout the entire requirements process from analysis, design, development, deployment, and lifecycle support for innovative hardware systems and applications.
- Analyzing and studying complex system requirements.
- Analyzing functions business applications and design specifications for functional activities.
- Applying business process improvement practices to re-engineer methodologies and principles and business process modernization projects.
- Applying, as appropriate, activity and data modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis and modern business methods and performance measurement techniques.
- Assisting in establishing standards for information systems procedures and metadata technical specifications.
- Designing software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation.
- Developing analytical and computational techniques and methodology for problem solutions.
- Developing and applying organization-wide information models for use in designing and building integrated, shared software and database management systems.
- Developing block diagrams and logic flow charts. Translated detailed design into computer software.
- Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflow.
