This role is responsible for owning end-to-end strategic direction and driving it, planning, and end-to-end development of best in class digital and omnichannel products at Western Union. You will lead a team of product leaders and managers, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute product development strategies to accelerate our business. For this role we are looking for a seasoned strategic thinker and customer-centric leader who will drive the growth of Western Union products, and organization to enhance the current product portfolio and build new portfolios catering for our customers and maximizing business impact.

Role Responsibilities

  • Build and ensure delivery against global digital and omnichannel product short- and long-term strategy, in close partnership and alignment with Marketing, Business, Technology, Portfolio and program management.
  • Accelerate customer engagement across channels, ensure seamless experiences independent of their journey complexity and phase.
  • Own product across all product development lifecycle phases, from product ideation, conceptualization to development and commercialization, ensuring seamless customer experiences and revenue growth.
  • Own, build and scale capabilities enabling customers to travel across Western Union channels seamlessly, ensuring recognition across channels, support availability throughout their journey, and encouraging repeat business.
  • Work with Western Union senior leadership, cross functional, regional leaders for products and ideas on forward looking Fintech and money movement products.
  • Data driven product management and ownership of product KPIs and OKRs across the entire customer engagement journey.
  • Define, build, and instill the best cross-functional practices in efficient, high quality product management and development.
  • Build trust and influence across teams, stakeholders, and the global organization.

Role Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in consumer facing omnichannel product strategy, development, and management preferable in payments.
    Proven track record of experience in digital banking, cross-border payment FinTech build and scale.
  • Impeccable understanding of data and metrics, exercising high quality, data driven decisioning.
  • Strong collaboration skills, able build trust and negotiate with teams across different seniority levels and functions, including product, design, technology, marketing, compliance, business development and sales, and geographies to build products that delight our global customers.
  • Strong background in building high performing teams, developing, coaching, and mentoring diverse talent, and being a role model across global cross functional teams.
  • Experience in building FinTech products for omnichannel customers (retail and digital) preferred.

Salary
The on-target earnings range is $211,356.26 – $352,260.43 per year, which includes a base salary, short-term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
