In this role you will Perform customer analytics and focus on customer experience to support improvement across end-to-end Platform Operations. Enable the key strategic objectives of white label partnerships: work with Leader, Data Science, Insights, and Analytics in identifying, and proposing areas of opportunity for lean, process automation, and artificial intelligence techniques. Be able to see how operational processes affect the overall customer experience.

You will work with Leader, Data Science, Insights, and Analytics to support business leaders in the Data Science, Insights and Analytics process related solutions within their area through applicable tools such as visual management, performance management, problem solving and implementation. Connects data, analytics and strategic thinking to define and evaluate actionable opportunities. Develop predictive analytics to guide the financial and operational planning process, influencing how to attain strategic objectives.

You will work with the business stakeholders and leaders in identifying areas of opportunity for applying machine learning techniques to solve business problems to simplify processes, generate revenue or save cost. Be able to see how operational processes affect the overall customer experience.

As part of the Data Science COE team, this role will help business teams by acting as the subject matter expert in Machine Learning techniques and the end-to-end implementation and automation of models. Connects data, analytics, and strategic thinking to define and evaluate actionable opportunities. Develop predictive analytics to guide the financial and operational planning process, influencing how to attain strategic objectives. Lead/participate in the full lifecycle of the Machine Learning and analytics projects from gathering requirements, architecting solution, and detailing the technical design. Design, lead, build and deploy machine learning models at scale, preferably in AWS Represent the team to interface with internal and external customers and partners. Serve as the conduit between the business unit and the AI/ML development team. Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and able to meet project deliverable deadlines.Lead and perform complex analysis in an evolving data environment.

You will build data pipelines in ETL to support the AWS model deployments as needed, preferably in Matillion, Talend or Snowflake. Technical solutioning skills with deep understanding of technical API integrations, AI, Data Science, Big Data and public cloud architectures Partner with the Data Engineers to build project components: data ingestion (ETL), databases, visualization, and possible machine learning components with both traditional and big data technologies.

You need experience in requirement gathering for database, analytical, and developing end to end ML solutions from business hypothesis to deployment / understanding the entirety of the ML development life cycle. Hands-on with designing relevant architecture/microservices to enable smooth deployment of models and post deployment tasks like model monitoring, re-training, model management in AWS.

You need exposure to cloud services necessary to build end to end pipeline and familiarity with MLOps concepts and cloud services like SageMaker, Data Robot, Vertex AI or Azure.

You need a solid understanding of Data Warehousing, ETL, business intelligence, analytics, and data visualization. Proficient in the use of query and reporting analysis tools. Proficient in architecting and building reports and complex dashboards Data management experience in Snowflake, Amazon AWS, S3, Oracle, Talend ETL, Matillion etc... Business intelligence system development experience using Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc. Working knowledge in building data pipelines in ETL and data modeling. Self-starter and analytical thinker that can work independently and drive projects forward. Strong skills in communicating and presenting data-derived insights to non-technical audiences appropriately. A track record of mentoring, managing, or leading junior analytics or data engineering staff.

You will need a BS in Computer Science. Knowledge and experience in applying machine learning/AI to solve real world problems.

You need 4+ years of experience in Machine Learning model development and deployment. Experience deploying models in AWS SageMaker or any other AI/ML Platform Experience working in Snowflake Data analysis experience (able to write and understand complex queries to design and debug) in Snowflake, Amazon AWS, S3, Oracle, Talend ETL, Matillion etc... Strong preference to hands on experience in ETL tools as well - Talend, Matillion etcDomain knowledge and past experiences in Fintech industry Hands on experience in ETL tools - Talend, Matillion etc

The annual gross base salary range is $81,813-144,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidates qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
