POSITION SUMMARY

• Engages in patient care in the Clinic and other settings using specialized knowledge, judgment and skills. Conducts clinic office visits and / or telephone visits to assess and respond to the patients condition. Works under the oversight of a supervisory physician.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Current ND Board of Nursing license as a Family Nurse Practitioner, required.

  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training, with certification every two (2) years, required.

  • ACLS certification, with certification every two (2) years, preferred.

• Educational Requirements

  • Education as necessary to obtain and keep ND FNP license.

• Experience Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of established professional medical concepts, principals and practices, required.

  • CPT coding knowledge, preferred.

  • Experience in specialized medical areas, preferred.
