POSITION SUMMARY
Engages in patient care in the Clinic and other settings using specialized knowledge, judgment and skills. Conducts clinic office visits and / or telephone visits to assess and respond to the patients condition. Works under the oversight of a supervisory physician.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Licenses and Certifications Required
Current ND Board of Nursing license as a Family Nurse Practitioner, required.
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training, with certification every two (2) years, required.
ACLS certification, with certification every two (2) years, preferred.
Educational Requirements
Education as necessary to obtain and keep ND FNP license.
Experience Requirements
Extensive knowledge of established professional medical concepts, principals and practices, required.
CPT coding knowledge, preferred.
Experience in specialized medical areas, preferred.
