Qualifications Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in related field;
- At least eight years experience in conducting analysis and open source research supporting DoD or IC customer with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years., Plus;
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal oversight
- Demonstrated experience Understanding information collection platforms, and combining information from disparate sources, including SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, and other sources.
Desired Qualifications:- Ten years experience in conducting analysis and open source research supporting DoD or IC customer with at least a portion of the experience within the last two years.
- Experience and training in one or more areas of; threat analysis, foreign intelligence, counterintelligence, risk and vulnerability assessments, military operations, investigations, technology protection, security, and antiterrorism/force protection are highly desirable.
- Ten or more years active duty military, civilian or contractor performance working in Information Operations.
Responsibilities The Operations Content Editor is responsible for providing substantive review of analytic content, verifying factual information and ensuring suitability for publication. Provides current operations products are clear and cogent presentation of the subject matter to support and maintain a common operational picture for the 1st Information Operations Command and the Command S3. Prepares and provides reports to higher headquarters and others within the prescribed formats and in the time limits set by the Government. Identifies errors of fact, factual inconsistencies, and contradictions; verifies accuracy of statements, figures, illustrations, and subject matter terms; compares illustrations, photographs, tables, and charts to ensure continuity and consistency with text; and checks citations against original sources to verify their use.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Provide appropriate staff during peak hours as designated by the Government.
- Validate information and assessments and make time critical recommendations for senior leadership
- Ensure inputted data matches information in Mission Management Module (or designated database).
- Ensure tracking of current operations and personnel movement matches subordinate unit reports.
- Ensure all phone calls, emails, and other communications are replied to or directed to the appropriate responsible party as directed by the Command or Operations Lead.
- Ensure all internal and external operational requirements occur within the timeline established by the requesting headquarters.
- Prepare reports for quality control/assurance and dissemination by the Government.
