The MLS Program Coordinator is responsible for overall leadership and management of Trinity Health’s Medical Lab Science Program. The MLS Program Coordinator creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the program and develops the budget, policies and procedures necessary to support the program infrastructure. The MLS Program Coordinator designs and implements course curriculum or content for class, lectures, conferences or other educational materials; serves as the liaison between Trinity Health and academic partners; oversees the operations of certifications or credentialing programs; and ensures all activities and requirements regarding the MLS Program are met. The MLS Program Coordinator may also provide classroom and laboratory instruction in clinical laboratory science subjects, as assigned, coordinates and supports University affiliation sites and student clinical rotations.
