Qualifications - Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.

Responsibilities Position Specific Description: Reporting Analyst (Journeyman) - Responsible for providing ongoing support and development of application reporting solutions. Possess strong consultative partner skills to deliver excellence in customer satisfaction. Drive operational efficiencies through all reporting solutions. Serve as a guide and consultant for reports-related questions from users, analysts, and stakeholders. Gather and analyze data, prepare reports, and introduce process improvements throughout the reporting process. Possess excellent analytical and technical skills, in addition to a keen ability to determine specifications and standards for business reporting and maintaining data integrity. Design and develop metrics, reports and analyses to drive key business/program decisions, and provide a link between raw enterprise data and management. Data extraction, analysis and transformation are key job responsibilities. The Reporting Analyst receives requests from all members of the management team so strong task prioritization, statistical analysis and critical thinking skills are a must.
General Job Description: Provides expertise in the formulation of systems scope and objectives relative to the business plan and industry requirements. Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats. Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems, such as production and inventory control systems, financial tracking systems, call center management and human resources systems. Works independently or as a member of a project team responsible for providing technical guidance related to the business implications of the application of various systems. Devises and/or modifies procedures to solve technical problems related to computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Creates detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
