Qualifications Required Qualifications:- Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive compartment Information eligibility,
- A minimum of five years of experience managing operations within major commands of the military and military intelligence.
- Five or more years of experience working with ISR technologies, military operations, and the intelligence life cycle.
- A minimum of five years of experience managing operations and directing personnel working with the countries within Central & South American and the Caribbean region and ensuring compliance with regulations within DoD agencies.
- Demonstrated experience building and sustaining coalitions internally and with other Federal agencies or organizations within the intelligence community in order to achieve common goals.

- Eight or more years of experience managing operations within major commands of the military and military intelligence.
- Seven or more years of experience working with ISR technologies, military operations, and the intelligence life cycle.

Responsibilities The United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) is one of 11 Unified Combatant Commands (CCMDs) in the United States (U.S.) Department of Defense (DoD). USSOUTHCOMs Area of Responsibility (AOR) includes Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. USSOUTHCOM is responsible for providing contingency planning, operations, and security cooperation for the AOR and its territorial waters and Force Protection (FP) of U.S. military resources at these locations. USSOUTHCOM is also responsible for ensuring the defense of the Panama Canal and the canal area.
USSOUTHCOM has a requirement for rapid reaction to special mission projects across multiple disciplines. These projects are designed to mitigate asymmetric threats to tactical elements deployed in various AORs and build capacity among partner nations in furtherance of these mitigation efforts. These projects develop, integrate, and provide the operation of mission systems used for information collection that detect, identify, assess, exploit, or neutralize threats to the U.S. and its interests. Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) is often referred to as the collective whole, but the capabilities are distinct and each fulfills a different purpose in support of the overall mission.
The Senior Operations Lead shall provide subject matter expertise for C4ISR operations and act as the liaison during information exchanges between operations, maintenance, and logistics personnel. The candidate shall provide oversight among other requirements under the larger task order (TO) requirement and coordinate with Government personnel and Government Agencies/Departments to ensure the mission objectives are met from an operational perspective under the TO. The candidate shall coordinate with appropriate Government personnel to ensure the release and acceptance of all information as it complies with the appropriate security controls and protections based on classification, technological progress, or other considerations. The candidate will have travel to other CONUS and OCONUS locations.
