Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Management.
- Ten (10) years of experience with workforce, financial, and/or other corporate operations functions.
- Eight (8) years of experience in the areas of data management, data strategy, data visualization, analysis of alternatives, metrics development, and the application of analytical principles in providing robust decision support products to senior leadership.
- Experience in the application of analytical principles and techniques, to include
problem/objective formulation, defining measures of effectiveness and measures of performance, providing alternatives, developing analytical models,
evaluating alternatives, and communicating results. - Experience with the Navy Working Capital Fund business model. Experience includes supervision and/or mentoring of lesser experienced personnel. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
- An active Secret clearance is required.
Responsibilities Peraton is looking for several Business Data Analysts to join our team in our North Charleston, SC office. The ideal candidate shall provide administrative and operational support to line management in a variety of functional areas, which may include finance, proposals, pricing, contracting, human resources, etc. These positions are contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities Are:- Lead the planning and implementation of large programs in the function, and regularly interfaces with senior management and executive leadership.
- Specify cost and financing issues based on reviews of engineering concepts and requirements and designs, and in integrating the multiple economic and financial analysis tasks and activities involved in engineering projects.
- Advice and counsel to the organization in area of expertise. Play a role in overall functional strategic planning.
- Manage program and project implementation and make significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts.
- Generate quotations on standard products and custom work as required; coordinates quotation follow-up activities with customers and product managers.
- Reconcile purchase orders with quotes, including payment terms, delivery schedule, etc.
- Work with customers as a sales point-of-contact from receipt of PO through delivery of products and services.
- Coordinate service/product deliveries, to include: PO travelers, daily delivery activities, domestic and export/import documentation, service and product invoicing, warranty status, etc.
- Coordinate with sale representatives to perform the tasks identified.
