The successful candidate will be part of the Corporate FP&A team and be the lead the business partner to our Technology Organization. In this role you will use a combination of outstanding leadership, strategic thinking, finance and analytical skills, along with cross-functional partnerships. Position scope includes financial modeling, analytics, and presentation preparation. This role with also support key Corporate FP&A activities including quarterly reporting, corporate dashboards, and headcount analytics.

II: Responsibilities
Financial Modeling: Contribute to and maintain financial forecast models, including scenario and ad hoc analysis
Financial Planning: Drive the long-term strategic planning cycle, annual budgeting process, quarterly forecast updates and monthly financial updates
Financial Reporting: Support a culture of transparent reporting by actively identifying and resolving issues that may impair the teams ability to meet financial objectives. Identify areas of challenge and opportunity to improve business value through insightful analysis, developing and implementing action plans with Senior Management.
Business Partnership: Work closely with department, to advance the insight and understanding of business performance to drive alignment and accountability across the company goals. Communicate complex topics (story telling) in an effective manner, present and interact with senior management inside and outside their team
Process Improvements: Seek technology-focused initiatives to streamline activities and support process improvements

III: Education, Experience & Skills
Bachelors degree in a business related major required; Masters in Business Administration or related advanced business degree is strongly recommended
A minimum of 10 years experience in a financial and/or analytical role; biotech/pharma. industry related experience preferred
Planning and analysis experience is required
Quick learner with a positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, and an ability to effectively communicate with both business, leadership, and finance teams.
Self-starter who seeks out challenges and can problem-solve with finite resources
A strong team player who is able to work across multiple functions and disciplines
A natural curiosity and desire to understand the cause for financial changes and fluctuation in financial activity
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power BI
Demonstrated financial modeling and analysis skills
Highly analytical and detail oriented
Ability to challenge the status quo and think outside the box
Experience working in a matrixed environment is a plus
