Qualifications - Demonstrates professional competence in cost estimation and analysis Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to analyze and evaluate financial data to resolve inconsistencies, identify key issues, and propose solutions.
- Exhibits strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills and able to clearly relay information in both written and verbal forms.
- Proven ability to interact with customers, senior leadership, and program managers in a highly matrixed environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any other relevant field
Responsibilities The customer is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to perform in the role of Activity Based Costing Analyst to create an Intelligence Community (IC)-wide cost recovery and/or cost reporting model for the organization, which provides data services to the Agency and the IC. Responsibilities of this position include:
- Development of cost-reporting model that will identify the cost of services/capabilities across the Intelligence Community
- Provide estimation of new and proposed costs of
- Collect and analyze information to determine costs of business activities.
- Provide analysis of collected information as well as keep records of findings and results.
- Analyze changes on the method of services provided to know how they affect cost.
- Analyze and prepare reports for the difference between actual cost and forecasted cost.
- Maintain the documentation of data and any statistical arrangement in cost analysis.
- Identify possible opportunities for improving the efficiency of services provided.
- Improve business processes, such as more efficient invoice delivery methods.
- Collaborate with Resource Management as required
- Continually interface with executive-level management requiring the planning, presentation and briefing of information.
