Qualifications - Expertise in project management with 5+ years' experience in project management with this Sponsor
- In depth understanding of Sponsor's Project management activities and tailoring
- Exceptional communication and familiarity with Sponsor's environment at both project level and executive audiences
- Demonstrated experience performing facilitation with groups capturing work processes and workflows
- Demonstrated experience designing, creating, and managing standards, standard operating procedures, processes, best practices , etc.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a team environment; self-starter
- Minimum of 10 years' experience and a bachelor's degree (or 5/+ equivalent experience) in a relevant field
Responsibilities The individual selected for this position will support the customer, who is responsible for honing the Sponsor's project management skills. The Office seeks a responsive, resourceful, and efficient individual to support the new Sponsor-wide Project Management (PM) Center of Excellence (CoE). Specifically, we are looking for someone with expertise in Sponsor-specific Project Management, strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skill s. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist in gathering and communicating a minimum set of Sponsor project management standards to include refined templates and multi-directorate exemplars
- Assist with providing project management consulting services,
- Establish and maintain a centralized guidance and documentation portal,
- Assist with establishing and maintaining a multi directorate mentoring and shadowing opportunities repository,
- Identify and communicate Directorate-wide and Industry Best Practices and trends,
- Assist in developing a forum to discuss emerging Sponsor-Level trends and training needs related to program management tradecraft.
