Technical Program Manager

Qualifications Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.
- Multiple years of experience in an Agile development environment
- Experience with Life Cycle Development (creation to transition)
- General understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience adapting agile to the needs of a team
- Experience coaching and training Agile fundamentals
- Ability to communicated technical progress with stakeholders/customers
- A strong mindset towards servant leadership and process improvements
- Experience implementing Scaled Agile to include: SAFe, DAD and Scrum of Scrums
- Ability to run day-to-day Agile ceremonies of Standups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives etc.
- Well rounded experience with Agile project management task tracking tools to include: Atlassian Jira, KANBAN, GitLab task management
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work rapidly in a high tempo environment
- Knowledge of KPIS and productivity metrics with the ability to implement systems to quantitatively measure progress
- Understanding of Risk Management strategies
- General understanding of procurement process, contracts, and financial analysis
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent
- PMI-PMP
- Active Top Secret Clearance required (SCI clearance a significant plus)
- BA or BS degree in a technical related field
- Minimum experience:
- 5+ years with Bachelors degree
- 3+ years with Masters degree
- recent Ph.D. graduate
Responsibilities We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to guide multiple fast-paced, high-delivery, cyber research and development teams. This individual will have a role directly interacting with customers to help assess the needs of a programs and coordination with technical leads to influence the direction of their projects. Although this position has a strong Agile component, we are looking for someone that can optimize process and procedures to best utilize their teams strengths. We view this position as a hybrid with functions both as a Scrum Master and a Technical Project Manager. The ideal candidate will be a strong servant leader, who is a good communicator and enjoys adaptive problem solving. This is a unique job in that is constantly changing with the state of the world, you must have a passion for innovation and solving hard problems.
