As the VP, Stress Testing and Reserves, you will be working on the wholesale credit portfolio and will be responsible for finalizing the Expected Credit Loss Reserves under IFRS and CECL and conducting Regulatory and BAU Stress testing exercises.

You will be responsible for:

• Finalizing the Expected Credit Loss Reserves under IFRS and CECL accounting standards for wholesale credit portfolio of the Bank. In finalizing the estimates, the role holder is expected to understand current Economic trends (Globally & Locally), macro projections/FEG, suite of HSBC models, how they work etc; to effectively challenge model results and help identify shortcomings and propose adjustments to ensure conceptually sound estimates.
• Performing sensitivity and stress testing analysis on the wholesale credit portfolio of the bank, in accordance with CCAR and internal framework and standards.
• Working with other teams like Credit Approvers, Business & Portfolio Management, Economists teams etc. to conduct periodic sector related stress tests that are done internally and are outside regulatory stress tests (ie CCAR)
• Ensuring accurate and thorough documentation of the processes to effectively comply with all the governance requirements and interact with Audit, Assurance teams and Regulators during review.
